CHICKEN CHILLI Empty CHICKEN CHILLI

Ingredients for
chinese chilli chicken



FOR FRY

1 kg Boneless Chicken cut in cubes

2 tbsp Soya Sauce

1 Egg

3 tbsp Corn Flour/Corn Starch

2 tbsp Vinegar

3 tbsp Chilli sauce

11/2 tsp salt

11/2 tsp black pepper



for Curry

5-6 Green Chilies cut in 2 pieces from da centre

2 onion cut in cubes n put out all tha diced

2 cloves of garlic

Salt to taste

1 tsp black pepper

1 tsp Sugar

A pinch of ajinomoto

1/2 cup chilli sauce

1/2 cup ketchup

1/2 cup oil

1 capsicum cut in strips





Preparation

Cut the boneless chicken pieces into1 " cubes.

Take Soya sauce, corn flour, salt, vinegar, egg,salt, pepper and chilli
sauce in a bowl and marinate chicken pieces in the the mixture for about
10-15 minutes.

Heat oil and deep fry the marinated chicken pieces till golden brown.

Now in a separate wok / kadhai heat the oil and add garlic and green
chillies and saut� for few seconds.

Add sugar, pepper powder, salt , ajinomoto and remaining Soya sauce and
all ingredients except capsicum and onion stir fry for 1 min.

Add fried chicken pieces to it and cook for few minutes.

Dissolve the remaining corn flour in 1/2 cup water and add to the curry
stirring constantly to avoid lumps keep the fire low



In another sauce pan put 1 tbsp oil and fry capsicum, fry for 1 min thn
put out,keep aside

again put 1 more tnsp oil in sauce pan put onion n stir fry thn put
capsicum and onion in the curry and

Cook for 1 more minute.

Serve chinese chili chicken hot garnished with chopped green onion tops.


Chinese chili chicken goes well with steamed / boiled rice or fried rice
