Teaching and Learning Feed on Each Other
Teaching and learning feed on each other
Questions and answers before and after;
With a goal, direction, a plan, objective;
And learners interested, focused attentive.
active, interactive, proactive
Eager, passionate, yearning to learn
so as to be built and prepared to earn;
Learning individually, in groups, or in pairs;
With rewards or punishment that is fair;
And a teacher prepared, inspirational
Guided by knowledge, experience and principle.
Stories can captivate, pictures persuade;
Music mesmerises, poems prepare.
Writing is right, humour enamours.
Requiring response is reasonable.
Repetition reinforces retention.
And rhymes from time to time,
surely, will not be a crime.
Summarising ties things together
For the learner and teacher
to live happily ever after.
r=black]3Then he told them many things in parables, saying: "A farmer went out to sow his seed. 4As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. 18"Listen then to what the parable of the sower means: 19When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is the seed sown along the path.Matt.13:3-4, 18-19
May I use this opportunity to thank all those who not only read articles posted on this forum but also take time to respond. You need to know that you are valued and contribute indirectly to other articles that follow. The writer and the reader need each other like the student and the learner and we can learn from each other. Feel free to give your opinion and compliment others who inspire you in one way or the other.
If you are not used to giving feedbacks, try and do it from time to time. It helps you also to be focused, think and come to a conclusion. You do not learn just by reading but also by writing to agree or disagree. 'sure a response is reasonable' thank you for reading.
God bless you richly.
