A Fishermen’s Tale

The fishermen toiled all the night.
They headed to shore at first light.
And Jesus had come to break bread.
But we have no fish, that‘s what they said.

So Jesus said “cast the net on the other side”.
They stopped, they listened and obliged.
The net disappeared under the sea’s wake.
And when they pulled, they feared it would break.

An amazing catch, the fishermen were in awe.
There were one hundred fifty three fishes in all.
What a blessing, to receive such a reward.
But that’s what happens when you trust in the Lord.
