'We Don't Do God?'
[color=black]
'We Don’t Do God,' so said a sage.
How blinded by prosperity
Bowing down to satanic bondage
Excluding, barring the Almighty
How foolish the wisdom of the wise
How earthy, base is man’s thinking
In their eyes they have become wise
So God gave them over to warped thinking.
Churches are empty while pubs are booming.
Sundays are fundays for car boot sales
Teenage pregnancies are booming
Debts are mounting from easy credit and sales
Senior citizens are dumped in homes
neglected, maltreated , left to roam
We think we are full but we are empty
We are bankrupt in value, we degenerate
caught up in a clash of cultural diversity
we grope, slide back into the dark ages.
But there is hope for those who turn
Face the sun of the Son, sanctify self.
There is an ark to shield from flood of filth
There is a light to enlighten the burden.

Re: 'We Don't Do God?'
This is so sad yet true. So many people I talk to casually mention they have no need for God in their life. They are quite happy so they say, yet their lives are a huge void, emptiness of a huge magnitude.
This is so well expressed! Blessings.
