Sad Saturday?

No, it was Good Friday, the day before. So it is Good Saturday.
It pleased the Father to bruise Him to reconcile man to God. Because of Good Friday, Jesus paved the way with His blood.

10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise Him;
He has put Him to grief.Isa53:10
When You make His soul an offering for sin,
He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days,
And the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in His hand.
11 He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied.
By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many,
For He shall bear their iniquities.

We now have access to the Father.
We have been purchased with a great price.1Pet1:18-19
As many as received Him He gave the authority to be children of God.
We are now heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ. We have now been delivered from the powers of darkness. We have been translated from the kingdom of darkness and brought into the His marvellous light- the Kingdom of God. Heaven is now our home.( John1:12, John3:16, Col1:12-13,Rom8:1-2. Ro5:1,
20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ(Phil3:20)
What they thought was His demise was His advantage. He replicated Himself in us. He made us the light of the world; City on a hill, Salt of the earth. They now have to contend with many Christ-like people.
Those demon spirits who were in great glee: ‘We got Him, We got Him!’ had a rude awakening when the righteous demands of a just God were satisfied; when Jesus took His blood to the mercy seat and it was accepted.
Psalm 16:10-11 was fulfilled
10 For You will not leave my soul in Sheol,
Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption.
11 You will show me the path of life;
In Your presence is fullness of joy;
At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

They had crucified an innocent Man and spilled holy blood.
"You take Him and crucify Him, for I find no fault in Him."John19:6

Because of ‘It is Finished!,’ the Father had to raise Jesus from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit. And Just as Jesus commanded Lazarus: ‘Lazarus come forth!’, the Father commanded, ‘Jesus, Come forth!’
And Jesus came forth!
He went to Hades to release captives; led captivity captive.  He went to Hades and released all the saints Of old: Abraham, Isaac Jacob, the prophets etc etc  and marched them out.

Jesus took the keys that the first Adam had given to Satan, disarmed principalities and powers and made a public spectacle of them. As He was going into Hades, there was a shout: 7 Lift up your heads, O you gates!
And be lifted up, you everlasting doors!
And the King of glory shall come in.
8 Who is this King of glory?
The LORD strong and mighty,
The LORD mighty in battle.
9 Lift up your heads, O you gates!
Lift up, you everlasting doors!
And the King of glory shall come in.
10 Who is this King of glory?
The LORD of hosts,
He is the King of glory. Sela
Jesus led a victory parade. He rose on the third day.
Yes, on the day of the resurrection, the sun rose and there was an earthquake and people who died came back to life.
51 Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split,52 and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised;53 and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many.Matt27:51-53

On Sunday, the first day of the week, as the sun rose, the Son rose. The stone was rolled away and Jesus came forth.
So Saturday was not a Sad Saturday after all because  Good Friday had come and Sunday was on the horizon. Alleluia!
