See, I have given you power to tower

Above all principalities and powers

Put them in their proper place, under your feet

Press on, forward ever, never ever retreat



Enforce the victory won on Calvary’s tree

Refuse the snare, the Son has set you free

Unmask the masquerade, who is a charade

Be bold and strong; let him not make you afraid.



I have given you a Name above every other name

Use it, don’t lose it, apply it and win the war-game

The Mighty Greater One is resident in you

Make Him pre-eminent, President to bring you through

'I have given you authority...to overcome all the power of the enemy.' Luke 10:19 NIV

: 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore' (Matthew 28:18-19 NRS).

'Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father' (Philippians 2:9-11 NIV).

Really a faith-inspiring message. It shows Jesus Christ's love for us. As Adam we lost this authority but Jesus gave it back to us.

I loved this one a lot and indeed Jesus is so kind to us that He not only gave us the power and authority over everything but also He brought us in the family of Heavenly Father. Thank you Fenny for all your faith inspiring poems, I really love them a lot. God bless you.
