Our Granddaughter

Our Granddaughter
Mother squeezed my hand, as I stood in silent prayer
Her whisper broke the silence; important enough to share
Our granddaughter is at the altar; a joy in her words
She may have said something else, but that was all I heard
Opening up my eyes, I had to stop my prayers
I guess I just wanted; to see her kneeling there
Then down to the altar, I moved from the pew
And placed my hand on her; need me to pray with you
She looked right at me, as tears rolled down her face
And in that moment, I could see God’s amazing grace
Only eight years old, what would she know to say
And then I heard the words, as she began to pray
God forgive me of my sins and Jesus come into my heart
I think my soul leaped, when I heard those parts
She did just fine; she didn’t need her Paw, at all
She listened to The Good Lord; and came when He called

Really an interesting poem and it seems as if this actually happened. I love the song "Amazing Grace" and it is so true when we look at our lives and then we look at the mercy of Heavenly Father, it surely makes it, "Amazing Grace".
This is what the LORD says, "...that I am the LORD, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight." declared the LORD (Jeremiah 9:23-24)

Thanks Daniel for your comments, and by the way this did happen. GOD blessed me to be there in Oct 2007 when my granddaughter accepted JESUS CHRIST as her LORD and SAVIOR. It was one of the greatest moments in my life.

God bless her and keep safe unde His wings in Jesus name. AMEN. Really amazing and it reminds of Jesus' words, when disciples stopped children from coming to meet Jesus and how Jesus loved them and made them sit in His lap. May God bless her mightly and abundantly so that she may become blessing to others.
