Temptation To Sleep

Temptation to sleep or slumber
Cometh easy to those alone.
So forsake not the assembly,
And you will keep awake and warm.

I was glad when they said to me,
'Let’s go into the house of God.
In the house of God there is peace.'
Where there is no wood, fire goes out.

So let us not sleep like others.
Let’s give no room to the devil.
Who prowls about just to devour.
Given an inch, he takes a mile.

"Let us not sleep, as do others."-1 Thessalonians 5:6

Very nice Fenny and I agree that most of people take this life non-seriously. I remember one verse from the Psalm that I believe should be prayer of every believer

But I am like an olive tree
flourishing in the house of God (Psalm 54:1)

Let us all become olive trees and grow and flourish in the guidance, mercy, kindness and love of Heavenly Father through our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ.
