Touch not the Glory of the Holy

Post  Fenny West on Sun 16 Aug 2009, 11:46 pm

Touch not His glory
All you have, He gave
What is good, that is
Boast not in the flesh
But that you know Him
And belong to Him

Temptation will come
To think its all of you
Best is to resist it
Submitting to God
And He will help you
Give Him the glory

Say, He must increase
And I must decrease
Glory be to Him
He is my wisdom
My ability and strength
And my everything.

Jesus gave his Father the glory
Joseph gave Him the glory
Peter gave Him the glory
Paul gave Him the glory
David gave Him the glory
And so can you and I too.

Joh:5:30: I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.
Joh:8:50: And I seek not mine own glory: there is one that seeketh and judgeth.
Joh:3:30: He must increase, but I must decrease.
Jer:9:24: But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.
1Co:1:29: That no flesh should glory in his presence.
1Co:9:16: For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!
Ac:3:12: And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?
2Ch:20:6: And said, O LORD God of our fathers, art not thou God in heaven? and rulest not thou over all the kingdoms of the heathen? and in thine hand is there not power and might, so that none is able to withstand thee?
1Ch:29:11: Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.
1Ch:29:12: Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.
Eze:28:15: Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
Isa:14:13: For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
Isa:14:14: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
