For this let every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found:..(Psalm 32:6)
It was an ordinary day for the blind Bartimaeus who sat by the highway begging as usual so he could buy food for himself. Suddenly he hears a commotion as Jesus passes by with His disciples and a large number of people.
Bartimaeus curious at the commotion inquires and learns that it is Jesus of Nazareth. On hearing that Bartimaeus starts to cry out to Jesus at the top his voice. People tried to calm down Bartimaeus but Bartimaeus starts to cry out even louder.
Then an amazing thing happens, Jesus stops and asks for Bartimaeus. Bartimaeus throws the cloak that was on him as he hears that Jesus is calling him.
Then another amazing thing happens in Bartimaeus' life. Jesus asks him what He could do for him. Bartimaeus replies and says that he wanted to see.
Jesus said to Bartimaeus that because of his faith he is healed. After receiving healing, Bartimaeus followed Jesus.
Even though Bartimaeus was physically blind but he could see spiritually. The Pharisees could see physically but were blind spiritually as they were unable to see Jesus. The blind man not only received sight but also an everlasting life. Certainly the blind Bartimaeus cried out to Jesus and found Him.

Yes he could see and do we see also? We should ask this question every second of our life. We may not miss Jesus.
