Money talks and walks
Tells you, ‘You have arrived.
Begin the spending spree
Act like there’s no tomorrow.

Meanwhile it begins to grow wings.
Before you know it, it has flown-
Away to a far away land unknown.
You look and look but it can’t be found.

Money leads you to: look, like and lift;
Feeds you with lies and deception,
Wants to own and control you;
Gives you fair weather friends.

It can make your head big
Bloated, filled with pride
Goad you into buying trouble:
Pulling the sleeping dog by the ear.

Money should be a servant
Never allow it to be a master
Money should be a means to an end.
Never allow it to be the end.

Never let it get into your head.
Never let it get into your heart.
Let God always be your security
Your Stay, your Strength and Source.
