To live for Him who made you
Find out what He put in you
Gifts and talents deposited in you
To discover, develop and deploy.

What are you called to do?
Find out your dream from Him
He will tell you if you ask Him
Then Go about it, trusting Him
Fulfilling it and glorifying Him.

3. We All Have Something to Give

We all have something to give,
From God’s deposit in us.
Lord, teach us to faithfully give,
Believing that it will be no loss.

For, what we give is, a seed sown,
That will die in order to live.
In giving, your light is shone,
And we live fulfilled lives.

Teach us, Lord, to give our best
Sacrificing, going extra mile
Just as You did-giving Your best
To give each one of us a smile.

do all in the name of the Lord Jesus,
giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
Colossians 3:23
New King James Version (NKJV)
23 And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men,

4.Calling or Career

Calling or Career
For each one
There is a calling
That is greater, higher
Sweeter and better
Than a career
A job (just over broke).

To everyone
There is a calling
That brings fulfilment
Your dream, your assignment
That brings satisfaction
And God’s glorification.

It is your vision
And source of provision.
It is your dream
The dream from Him.

This is my dream, my assignment
Given by my Maker, Master
Owner, Lover of my soul
Before the foundation of the world
Before I was conceived
In my mother’ womb.

O Lord help me find my calling.
O that I will hear you calling
And yield to You directing my energy
Time, treasure and talent
And my industry
And creativity
To my higher calling
What You have packed me for.

O Lord, wean me
from fruitless labour
bring me into
the centre of Your will for me
O Lord, wean me
from ‘uncommanded’ work
a distraction from the enemy
or a distraction from self.

Rid me, O Lord, from following
people’s expectations
people pressure
the popular, the fad
the fashionable

5.Knowing Your True Identity

Knowing Your True Identity
Helps you to discover your gift(s)
Know why you were born
Motivate you to develop the gift(s);
Be yourself without apology
Stop you from copying others
Helps you to deploy your gift(s)
To fulfil your God-given vision.

Knowing Your True Identity
Will open your eyes as well as doors
As never before, raise you from the floor.
It will give you joy
That is unspeakable and full of glory.
You will cease from competing
And start complementing.
Surely it will change your story.

Knowing Your True Identity
Brings you added confidence
Which ignites your passion.
You’re spurred to pay the price, burn midnight oil
That will bring the boon and the prize
You’re able to forget the past
And look ahead to the future God foreordained
With a desire t finish and finish very well.

6.Designed for a Purpose

Designed for a Purpose
Assigned for a reason
Not for a pose
But to rise in season.

Sculptured and crafted
Furnished and endowed
To pleasure my Father
Yield a great dividend
Uniquely woven
Masterfully packaged

Regardless of my port of entry
I have a great destiny
Approved in heaven before delivery

Regardless of my race, age or face
I count on God’s grace
In spite of the odds I face
In my Race of Grace.

God is near and cares
Therefore I will not fear
He is working in me
working through me
and working for me.

Ephesians 1:11
The Message (MSG)
11It's in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone.

For everything, absolutely everything, above and below, visible and invisible, rank after rank after rank of angels—everything got started in him and finds its purpose in him. Col:16 MSG
Prov.11:28
The Message (MSG)
28 A life devoted to things is a dead life, a stump;
a God-shaped life is a flourishing tree. Proverbs 11:28
13-16 Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out;
you formed me in my mother's womb.
I thank you, High God—you're breathtaking!
Body and soul, I am marvelously made!
I worship in adoration—what a creation!
You know me inside and out,
you know every bone in my body;
You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit,
how I was sculpted from nothing into something.
Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth;
all the stages of my life were spread out before you,
The days of my life all prepared
before I'd even lived one day. Ps13915-16MSG
15My frame was not hidden from You when I was being formed in secret [and] intricately and curiously wrought [as if embroidered with various colors] in the depths of the earth [a region of darkness and mystery].
16Your eyes saw my unformed substance, and in Your book all the days [of my life] were written before ever they took shape, when as yet there was none of them.
Ps139Amp
Jeremiah 18:1-6
Amplified Bible (AMP)
Jeremiah 18
1THE WORD which came to Jeremiah from the Lord:
2Arise and go down to the potter's house, and there I will cause you to hear My words.
3Then I went down to the potter's house, and behold, he was working at the wheel.
4And the vessel that he was making from clay was spoiled in the hand of the potter; so he made it over, reworking it into another vessel as it seemed good to the potter to make it.
5Then the word of the Lord came to me:
6O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter does? says the Lord. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are you in My hand, O house of Israel.
Jer18:1-6
5"Before I shaped you in the womb,
I knew all about you.
Before you saw the light of day,
I had holy plans for you:
A prophet to the nations—
that's what I had in mind for you."
Jer1:5MSG
'I am Jesus, the One you're hunting down like an animal. But now, up on your feet—I have a job for you. I've handpicked you to be a servant and witness to what's happened today, and to what I am going to show you.
17-18"'I'm sending you off to open the eyes of the outsiders so they can see the difference between dark and light, and choose light, see the difference between Satan and God, and choose God. I'm sending you off to present my offer of sins forgiven, and a place in the family, inviting them into the company of those who begin real living by believing in me.'
Acts26:15-18
"Don't argue. Go! I have picked him as my personal representative to non-Jews and kings and Jews. And now I'm about to show him what he's in for—the hard suffering that goes with this job." Acts9:15-16
Jeremiah 29:11
New King James Version (NKJV)
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Jer29:11

Discover that purpose

7.Borne By His Purpose

Borne By His Purpose
Born for His purpose
Not for my purpose.
Living just for Him
Living to fulfil His dream.

Born to live a meaningful life
To discover His purpose,
Not what people pose
Not ‘whatever goes’
Or whatever is popular.

My life is too precious
to waste on trivialities
I will use my hidden treasures
For my divine assignment
God will remain at the core
At the centre, on the throne.

God is my source,
not my resource
He gives me the wisdom
of His heavenly Kingdom
surpassing the world’s wisdom.

I follow the way of righteousness
And turn away from darkness
Waywardness and wickedness
I choose the path of openness
and brokenness before God
depending on the light from His word.
Counting on His goodness
Nearness and loving- kindness.

8.Packaged for God’s Pleasure

Packaged for God’s Pleasure
Designed for purpose;
For God’s pleasure;
Intricately, skilfully SHAPED
Endowed with all I need
For the fulfilment
Of my assignment.

Regardless of opposition
And my present position
My purpose shall find expression
Make a lasting impression
To the glory of my Maker
Lover of my soul and My Owner,

What God has purposed
No foe can countermand
No foe can scupper

This good work God began
Shall be continued, assuaged
Progressively to a glorious
Victorious conclusion.

Prayer:

Father, I thank you and praise you that you have packaged me for your pleasure, designed me for your purpose.
Thank your for that purpose and plan which you had in mind when you were intricately and meticulously putting me together.
Your will for me is the best for me.
Regardless of opposition or my current position, help me Lord, to set my face like a flint and press on for the mark of the prize of the high calling in Christ Jesus.
Lord, I pray that I will not waste my time with what you have not assigned to me. Lead me by Your Holy Spirit to find my purpose, follow that purpose passionately, and commit myself to finish that purpose to your glory and your praise, in Jesus’ Name.

Romans 8:28
New King James Version (NKJV)
28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Embrace that purpose
[ Paul’s Post-Conversion Life ] “Therefore, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision,

19 “Therefore, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision, 20 but declared first to those in Damascus and in Jerusalem, and throughout all the region of Judea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent, turn to God, and do works befitting repentance. Act26:19-20 [/size]

9.I Am Not an Accident

I am not an accident
But a conscious and deliberate,
pre-planned, curiously, created
masterpiece of God.

He knew me before I began,
Has a wonderful plan for me.
I am not an after though
But a fore thought.
God designed me meticulously, skilfully
Formed, forged and furnished me
For my divine purpose.

That purpose shall be discovered
Unveiled, embraced;
That purpose shall be
pursued passionately
and wholeheartedly;
That purpose shall be
gloriously completed
to the glory of my God.

Lord, help me to find
My purpose
Face my purpose
Follow my purpose and
Fulfil my purpose
In Jesus’ name, amen.

Mighty God, I thank you for all the gifts, abilities, passions experiences that you have given me and allowed me to go through.
I believe that they will all work together for my good as I commit them into Your loving and powerful hands.
You said in your word; all things work together for the good of those who love God and who are the called according to Your purpose. This is my confidence, my God.
Thank you for all my endowments. I have all that I need to fulfil the purpose of God for my life.
When David finished serving his generation he gave up the Ghost. Help me Lord to follow and finish me assignment, in Jesus’ name.

10.I have an inheritance in Christ

I have an inheritance in Christ
Treasury that He purchased
Enabled, made possible;
Boon brought about by
His death and resurrection
Price paid with His precious blood
Bestowing a great prize.

I shall work with my inheritance
And it shall work for me
It shall grow on me
Abound in me, increase in me
Multiply in, flow with me
Follow me, yield to me, yield in me.

I have a heavenly mandate
to leave an inheritance
for my children’s children
those that have not been seen.
Thank you for the foresight
to see beyond the seen

This inheritance is in my jar of clay
It is a gem more than gold
Not given to be sold
But to be expended wisely
Invested to yield great dividend
Touching and transforming lives
Increased with disbursement
Multiplied by scattering
On good, fertile hungry soil.

Come Holy Spirit
Come and visit
Come and dwell
superabundantly
Come and unveil
Come and empower
In this critical hour
Come and refine
Show me what is mine
With your fire
Grant me godly desire
Come and hone
Come and recharge
Come sand enlarge
Come and discharge
Come and be in charge
Come dispel the mirage
Come and build character
After the Alpha and Omega
Come and bring wisdom
Divine from the Vine
Wisdom of the Kingdom
Wisdom for synergy
More than energy
One plus one becoming three
For a legacy lasting eternity.

We all have received an inheritance
Ephesians 1:11
New King James Version (NKJV)
11 In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will,
Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:Col1:12
The inheritance is a free gift- your endowment Ro12:6-8
For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise. Gal1:18
We have a good, enviable inheritance
New King James Version (NKJV)

6 The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places;
Yes, I have a good inheritance Psalm 16:6
It is one thing to have it, it is another see it and harness it, use it to help others
The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, Eph1:18

You need foresight and faith to leave an inheritance for your children’s children. .
Leave an inheritance beyond who you can see
New King James Version (NKJV)
22 A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children,
But the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous. Proverbs 13:22

Colossians 3:23-25
New King James Version (NKJV)
23 And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, 24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for[a] you serve the Lord Christ. 25 But he who does wrong will be repaid for what he has done, and there is no partiality.
Col3:23-24

Proverbs 13:22
New King James Version (NKJV)
22 A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children,
But the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous.

Psalm 47:4
New King James Version (NKJV)
You don’t choose your inheritance
4 He will choose our inheritance for us,
The excellence of Jacob whom He loves. Selah
New King James Version (NKJV)
You need to marry wisdom with your inheritance to maximize its yield
11 Wisdom is good with an inheritance,
And profitable to those who see the sun.
Eccle 7:11

There is a matching inheritance waiting for those who use their earthly inheritance very well.
His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ Matt25:21

Everyone has something to offer from your SHAPE arising from your
1. Motivational endowments (Gift of the Father to His creation): perception, service, teaching, exhorting, giving, administration, compassion (Rom12:6-Cool or
2. Manifestation endowments (Gifts of The Holy Spirit to members to believers)

a) Power Gifts: Working of Miracles, Gift of Faith and Gift of Healing
b) Revelation Gifts: Word of wisdom, Word of knowledge and discernment of Spirit.
c) Utterance Gifts: Prophecy, Divers kinds of Tongues and interpretation of tongues.
Ministry Gifts (Gifts of Jesus to the Body of Christ. these are offices or actual people who will have some of the gifts already mentioned in varying degrees to function in their office(s).
Apostle- pioneers- missionaries
Prophets (should have revelation, utterance gifts, may be some Working of miracles
Evangelists (should have power gifts
Pastors (should have admin, teaching, compassion)

Each person has a function which determines ‘SHAPE’
‘Spiritual’ gifts from the Father, Son or the Holy Spirit
Heart- passion
Abilities, talents
Personalities
Experiences- positive or negative

We don’t choose our gift. The Holy Spirit Jesus or the Father decides.
We all have assignment- people sent to, a dream to fulfil, a world (domain or sphere to influence or impact or leave a legacy in. we need to identify that dream, assignment or world and discover, develop and deploy your gifts which will enable you to leave an eternal legacy before we are called home. It all begins with God. You must know your God, then be intimate with Him, and ask Him to reveal you to you.
Without this revelation of you to you, you can abuse yourself- use your gifts for ‘uncommanded’ purposes or not discover them or discover them but not sufficiently develop them as to maximize their use.

We need to know that there is also preparation time ( God’s Process before the Promise) before you start your assignment and certain seemingly mundane unfulfilling task occupations can be God’s training ground for what He has for us eventually. We need to have a vision and know God’s timing understanding momentum and seizing the moment. David had to look after his father’s sheep before god gave him a people to shepherd. The same applied t Moses, who got God’s timing wrong. Eventually when God was ready, Moses gave excuses.

11.Without God life makes no sense’

‘Without God life makes no sense’
I dart about, groping in the dark
I see dimly through the world’s lenses
Without Him I simply miss the mark.

He is the Light who brings light
He is the Life who brings life
Without Him I cannot
reach fulfilling height
Without Him I cannot
live a meaningful life.

Only He can make life complete
Only He can give my life meaning
My discovery of life begins at His feet
He declares the end from the beginning.

So I find my divine purpose in God
As I search the scriptures look at His mirror
Bask in the sunshine of his word
His word is a lamp that guides and is sure.

12.I Give it Up to You

I give it up to you
O faithful and True
Giving you your due
Mould and make me anew.

Surrendering is trusting
Not sure of where am going
But sure of Who is leading
Mine is waiting, listening obeying.

I surrender my vision
And take up your vision
Surrender earthly position
Take up my divine position
Without you I am nothing
With you I can do all things
Not my will but your be done
Every selfish ambition must be gone.
It shall be obedience from dusk to dawn
Propelled and powered by the Son.

I make surrender my habit
Letting God fully inhabit
All my weakness admit
Letting the Holy Ghost visit.

13.See, I Have Gifted You

See, I have gifted you
and lifted you
from the mighty waters
snatched you from the hands
of principalities and powers.

I have opened your grave
and brought you out
for such a time as this.
You shall be ready and willing
In the day of My power.
They wanted to kill you
before your time
but I turned the table
and had the final word.

You must fulfil the will of God for you
In your generation, like David of old.
Fear not, because I am with you
And in you and for you,
Wherever you go.

The giants you see today
will be bread to you
so take your eyes off them and fix it on the Author and Finisher of your faith.

I will uphold you with my victorious right hand of rightness and justice.
I will be your shield and strength,
And your abundant compensation.
You are engraved on the palm of my hand and I will never
forget or forsake you.
Be still therefore,
and know that I am God
I will be exalted among the nations.
I will be exalted in the earth.
I will fight for you
and you will hold your peace

Let the sea roar and all that is in it.
Let the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea.
Let there be a sea-quake- a tsunami.
Be still and know that I Am God.

Let the storms gather and stammer
Let wicked spirits plan, conspire
strategise, forge, falsify, malign;
they will be scattered, cornered
and wiped out without trace.
You are sealed with a seal;

a seal of authority;
a seal of My ownership;
the seal of the precious blood;

the powerful blood;
the efficacious blood;
that great price paid for you;
making you acceptable in the beloved;
See, I have given you a lift
For you to you go places
receive graces.

You must have a goal.
Without a goal
you have no go;
anything goes;

you beat about the bush;
have a merry go round;
many things are not done.
Without a goal you cannot

see or seize the moment
and momentum unseen
cannot be tapped or harnessed
and it becomes an opportunity
that passes you by.
Without good organisation
many things are not found
you don’t excel; you may even repel;
you stagnate, vegetate, even retrogress.
So ask for God’s help
to keep you organised, motivated
focused with a godly goal
as to have a go and go for the gold.

14.When God Starts Blessing

When God starts blessing
The foe starts messing
Using detention
For attention

But the name of Jesus
Must remain in force
His name will be proclaimed
Without let or shame.

No other name
Remains ever the same
So wonderful
So powerful
So authoritative
So creative
So compelling
So telling!

15.Pursue Purpose with Passion

Pursue Purpose with Passion,
Being wise with spiritual wisdom.
Live in the light with His unction;
Advancing, spreading His Kingdom.

Live with eternity in mind,
Knowing the reason for your being,
Constantly renewing your mind;
Giving thanks to God for all things.

Endure trials, sufferings, hardships;
Use them top step up the ladder.
Cherish well your fellowship.
Hold on to the Alpha and Omega.

Strive to know Him better and better
Letting your love grow deeper and deeper
Give yourself to enrich others
And your joy will abound become fuller.

Know, you have been rescued redeemed
Brought into God’s marvellous light;
Bought with the precious blood, ransomed
Belonging to the Day and not the night.

New King James Version (NKJV)
Preeminence of Christ

9 For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

New Living Translation (NLT)Colossians 1:9-10
New Living Translation (NLT)
9 So we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of his will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding. 10 Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better.

Finish that purpose

John 19:30
New King James Version (NKJV)
30 So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.
For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it—Luke 14:28
Zechariah 4:8-10
New King James Version (NKJV)
8 Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying:
9 “ The hands of Zerubbabel
Have laid the foundation of this temple;[a]
His hands shall also finish it.
Then you will know
That the LORD of hosts has sent Me to you
Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. Gen2:1
So Solomon built the temple and finished it. The whole temple he overlaid with gold, until he had finished all the temple; also he overlaid with gold the entire altar that was by the inner sanctuary. 1Ki6:14,22

And David said to his son Solomon, “Be strong and of good courage, and do it; do not fear nor be dismayed, for the LORD God—my God—will be with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you, until you have finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD.
So all the work that Solomon had done for the house of the LORD was finished; and Solomon brought in the things which his father David had dedicated: the silver and the gold and all the furnishings. And he put them in the treasuries of the house of God. 2Chro5:1
So the wall was finished on the twenty-fifth day of Elul, in fifty-two days.Neh.6:15

He who began a good work in you will complete it.
being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ; Phil1:6

16.When Purpose is Opposed

The way may be rough
And the times, tough
Yet God is in charge
And will your spirit charge

He has a purpose
Even when you’re opposed
It is good grand and proper
To enable you to prosper.

You will see souls saved
Be not dismayed or afraid,
Only walk by faith, believe
And you will surely receive.

17.Trip to pain

Trip to pain
Led by God?
As seen in Paul
And in Joseph

Foreordained
By His Hand
In His wisdom
Purpose-driven.

In thee end
bore more fruit
Glorified God
People saved

That’s what matter
snot your pain,
not your prison ,
not your trial.

18.Serving Sincerely yet Still Stuck ( proph)

Serving sincerely yet still stuck
In a rot, mire, even quagmire
Between hard place and a rock
To run or give up is your desire.

But you know you have a call
A mission and a vision from God
So you must stand strong and tall
And proclaim His powerful Word.

Despite difficulties, desertions, opposition
You cannot stop or give in to the foe
You must press on from station to station
Carried by the Wind, the Holy Spirit’s flow

Your body may not feel like it
Your mind may war with you
But your spirit must yield to it
Assured that God Almighty is with you.

So open your mouth and speak
He will fill it with molten gold
Refuse to doubt. Stand! Be not weak!
He will make you fighting fit, bold.

Yield and abounding will be your yield
Even in sun-scotched, forgotten land

19.The Lot of Jeremiah

Imagine the lot of Jeremiah:
For preaching the gospel
Getting stuck in a stinking mire
And seeing nothing but share hell.

He had a message: prophetic
Seemed to be standing alone
It came out dynamic, energetic
Burning, blazing fire in his bones.

With a sense of mission
He rode the storms and floods
Powered by divine vision
Depending solely on his God.

This was a weeping prophet
Who suffered day and night
Judgement he had to trumpet
Regardless of the pain and plight.

In season and out of season
He had to speak severity
Though it bought and brought prison
He had to obey the Almighty.

Lord, recharge my spiritual battery
To shine, run, burn and burn for you
Regardless of the foes and fires I see
Knowing that you will bring me through.

Jer20:7-13,

If you are practising, devoted, disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ, your path is the narrow way. Your life rebukes darkness, unrighteousness. The world will hate you and reject you. But God will be proud if you as you let your light shine in the darkness be a City on a hill even if you become unpopular and vilified.
They did to your master, so they will do it to you.
The score is even more severe if you have a prophetic ministry. Be ready to doubly suffer, be marginalised, deserted, tortured, called names, imprisoned or killed.

Be strong and courageous and press on until you finish your assignment like Paul:

20.Pursuing Purpose Can Pose a Problem

Pursuing Purpose Can Pose a Problem
Make things harder than before
Like Moses made things harder for Jacob
Pharaoh getting mad, vindictive.

David was destined for the throne
But he had to dodge Saul’s venom
Run from pillar to post, under cover
Things going from bad to worse was the process.

Without the process, there will be no promise
He had to endure like a soldier
Joseph was ordained to be a governor
But the pit and prison had to precede.

Without wisdom and understanding, you cannot stand
You will cry ’Wolf’ and throw in the towel
You will play into the enemy’s hand,
Who’s come to kill steal and destroy!

So when the fire gets hotter and hotter
Trust in His faithfulness as He refines
You will not come out bitter but better
You will come out smelling like rose.

Daniel’s friends are your example
They stood the test, would not compromise
Daniel himself leaves us a lesson:
From opposition you can obtain promotion.

21.The Nature of Your Inheritance

The nature of your inheritance
Is its uniqueness
To usher a fragrance
And grace into your life

It will make you stand out
Among the crowd
People will have no doubt
About you’re your gifting.

It was tailor-made for you
Wired into you
To distinguish you
Empower you, lift you to lift others.

What God has given you .
Is the very best for you.
Acknowledge it, walk in it
Work with it, trade with it
But don’t trade it for something else.

The Holy Spirit is the key
Only He can help you see
So put your hand in His hand
And He will bring you into the Land.

Be prepared to take risks
Don’t expect a quick fix
Before the promise
There is a process.

Ephesians 1:11
New King James Version (NKJV)
11 In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, 14 who[a] is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory. Eph1:11,14
Psalm 16:5-7
New King James Version (NKJV)

5 O LORD, You are the portion of my inheritance and my cup;
You maintain my lot.
6 The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places;
Yes, I have a good inheritance.

7 I will bless the LORD who has given me counsel;
My heart also instructs me in the night seasons.
Ps16:5-7

23.The Function of Your Inheritance

The function of your inheritance
Is to bring you into significance
Make you stable, durable, secure
Covers your present and future

It is more than food and rainment
But for your dream and assignment.
It is not just for your generation
But also for the unborn -future generations.

Jacob prayed for food and clothing
But God ordained increasing, employing
Dominion, subduing, fruitfulness, multiplying
Being super-abundantly blessed to be a blessing.

So stop limiting God by your thinking.
Break the mould into possibility thinking.
Know that your God is more than enough,
Even when the terrain is rough and tough.

Think what God thinks about you.
Say what God says about you.
Pray what God’s word says about you.
Act as though God’s word is true.

God will make His Word good.
You will have far more than food.
God will make you victorious,
Because your inheritance is glorious.

Then Jacob made a vow, saying, “If God will be with me, and keep me in this way that I am going, and give me bread to eat and clothing to put on, 21 so that I come back to my father’s house in peace, then the LORD shall be my God. 22 And this stone which I have set as a pillar shall be God’s house, and of all that You give me I will surely give a tenth to You.”Gen28:20-21
Jacob’s Agreement with Laban

25 And it came to pass, when Rachel had borne Joseph, that Jacob said to Laban, “Send me away, that I may go to my own place and to my country. 26 Give me my wives and my children for whom I have served you, and let me go; for you know my service which I have done for you.”
27 And Laban said to him, “Please stay, if I have found favor in your eyes, for I have learned by experience that the LORD has blessed me for your sake.” 28 Then he said, “Name me your wages, and I will give it.”
29 So Jacob said to him, “You know how I have served you and how your livestock has been with me. 30 For what you had before I came was little, and it has increased to a great amount; the LORD has blessed you since my coming. And now, when shall I also provide for my own house?”
31 So he said, “What shall I give you?”
And Jacob said, “You shall not give me anything. If you will do this thing for me, I will again feed and keep your flocks: 32 Let me pass through all your flock today, removing from there all the speckled and spotted sheep, and all the brown ones among the lambs, and the spotted and speckled among the goats; and these shall be my wages. 33 So my righteousness will answer for me in time to come, when the subject of my wages comes before you: every one that is not speckled and spotted among the goats, and brown among the lambs, will be considered stolen, if it is with me.”
34 And Laban said, “Oh, that it were according to your word!” 35 So he removed that day the male goats that were speckled and spotted, all the female goats that were speckled and spotted, every one that had some white in it, and all the brown ones among the lambs, and gave them into the hand of his sons.Gen30:24-35
