I'd like to take my heart
and make it feel the love
that God must have for us
to send His perfect Dove
He came to show us God
the things He wants for us
His Passion and His Beauty
without all the fuss
He told us life is simple
just live it day to day
no worry of tomorrow
what more could He say
Trusting is not a thing
that we are raised to be
in something that we cannot touch
but nothings here for free
So when we wake tomorrow
we will wonder what to do
to sit and pray the Lord's Prayer
it's their for me and you
Giving all to the Father
through the Son who taught
that Peace and Contentment
never will be bought
