Stand in the gap
Pray without ceasing
You’re on the final lap
Darkness is increasing
Run well your race.
Stand in the gap
Be unrelenting
Ward off the wave of sin
Come to imprison
And sap your strength
Stand in the gap
Awake from slumber
Don’t be caught in a nap
The day is far spent
Let not your strength be spent.
Let your light shine
Dispel all darkness
And every wickedness
With your brightness
From the face of Jesus.

Lord, teach me to pray...' (Luke 11:1).
