Today many people are debating the worth of the internet and blogging as it relates to the spiritual growth of Christians. Some argue that blogs are immoral, but others insist that the blogosphere (and open forums like Christian Talk) are very beneficial to sanctification of Christians.

Although, I would agree with the latter group - that the internet opens up doors for spiritual advancement - I would also point out that it opens up doors for spiritual attack. Today the blogosphere and internet forums are being used to attack ministers and churches. These attacks are taking their toll on these ministers and ministries. I totally agree that majority of blogs and Discussion Forums have indeed indulged in to False Preaching and Teaching and many people who have never opened the Bible in their lives, fall victim to them.

These Discussion Forums and blogs present a different view on the Bible and its teachings which suits most of the people. This way they do not only get many members but also a better rating on the search engines.

I always divide the history of World Religions into two era:

1. Pre-crucifixion Era
2. Post crucifixion Era

In Post-crucifixion Era, satan has moved people in denial mode. They reject Jesus as Lord and Savior, they rejct the authenticity of the Bible, they reject crucifixion and resurrection and so on. You can find loads of information that is worthless but you will also find people believing in all that falsehood too.

On the other hand, some blogs and Forums have helped people to understand Christianity and are doing a great job to honor and glorify Heavenly Father through Jesus Christ. May God bless all these blogs and forums to His honor and glory and may many souls be won through them.
