The BOOK of Books
This is BOOK of BooksThis book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. (Jos1:8)
There are books but this is a book of a different order and class. This is the BOOK of Books. It is the mind of Christ. It is the Voice of God, His counsel, His direction and directive. It is light to our paths and lamps to our feet. It is His Instruction manual - Basic Instruction Book for Living on Earth.( BIBLE).
It is Spirit- breathed. It is spirit and it is life. It can carry you on life’s troubled waters. It can shield you in the fire or in the storms of adversity. It can sustain you when you go through you valley of the shadow of death.
This Book births creativity and the mind of Christ in you. It radiates the glory and power and excellence of God. It is infinite, too broad to be completely comprehended and expatiated by any human mind. When you are sick it is a balm that you can apply- medicine to your body. It is multifaceted when you allow the Author – the Holy Spirit to open it and break the Bread of Life and serve you.
The same passage can speak different things to as many as read it and yet they can all be true. How remarkable! It does not contradict itself as some ITKs ( I Too Knows), would sugest. It has a unity beyond compare, beautiful beyond any imagination, a reservoir of gems. Prophetic, poetic, apocalyptic, magnificent, and so eloquent, it even has elements of History, mystery, Geography, Astronomy, Architecture, Prayer, songs, worship and much miuch more.
This book is dynamic, active, living, and sharper than any two-edged knife. It has the potential and ability to pierce through every fiber, front, faculty, compartment , apartment and crevice, nooks and crannies of your being –spirit soul and body, to discern, decipher, diagnose, direct, dislodge, destroy, physical , mental and spiritual oddities. It is the sword of the Spirit with which to wage war with the enemy of your soul; enabling you to use it to tear open his masquerade to see who he truly is- a thief who has come to steal, kill and destroy all the good God has fore-ordained for you.
This is a Book that beats all books hands down, and hence it is the best seller of all time.
Need I wet your appetite any more to find it, feed on it, digest it, share it, inject it, see it as a honey in a honey comb, a treasure more than gold or silver, and make it a compass to your soul? Need I persuade you to make it your Daily Companion, your Daily Bread, bedfellow, prayer partner, and song book, basic daily living divine instruction manual?
I challenge you my friend, to find me ANY WHERE, such a Book of books!
Re: The BOOK of Books
Wonderful article Fenny and I agree with you that Bible is the Book of books. The difference between Bible and other books is that Bible is not based on any kind of philosophy that depends on human traditions and basic principles of this world.
If we look at other books of different faiths, what we find is:
Bible on the other hand shows us life. The words I speak to you are spirit; and they are life. (John 6:63)
The Bible talks of living a perfect worldly and spiritual life, whereas other books talk of living a worldly life only. How should we eat, what should we eat, how should we have sex, which food is good for sexual life, how to curse people and how to disrupt peace and rebel against the authorities.
It is amazing that all the fables recorded in others books do not support the known history. For example, it is an Arabian Fable that there lived a king named Karoon, who had such much treasure that it vanished due to his pride. It became a saying in Arabia, "If Karoon can lose his treasure, so we can". Now this character does not appear anywhere in the recorded history and is only a fiction. However, now, scholars of Arabia, cover up this mistake and fiction by saying that, Karoon means, Pharoah. Even for discussion, no Pharoah ever, had more treasure than King Solomon.
God bless you Fenny

Thank you, Waqar
Indeed, you're quite right. I could not agree with you anymore. The Bible surpases them all. Inspite of man's effort to obliterate it overthe centuries, yet it atands defiant and preserved by Almighty God.
God bless you and yours.
God bless you and yours.
