Puting on the whole Armor of God

We have a vast array of supernatural power provided by God to us when we become his child - trust in His Name and giving ourselves to Him. Paul puts it best In the book of Ephesians 6:10-24 It is not God’s will that we be kick around by the devil. He has given us more than enough power and resources available to us to stand against the devil. Let us go through them one by one.

1#. The first thing we must understand is that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of
wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12 These demonic forces are the one third that fell from heaven so long ago. They are way more powerful that us and way more intelligent, they have been around for a lot longer time than us and have a lot more experience. If we try to fight them in our own power we will lose. We must learn how to call on the Lord in these Spiritual battles. We as Christians some times forget what we have available to us by the indwelling of His Holy Spirit.

2#. Gird your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, Ephesians 6:14
The second thing you should always remember is that Sin hinders your prayers-Stops God’s protection – makes you vulnerable to Satan’s attacks and opens the door for him and all of his evil forces. Righteousness is clothed with Jesus Christ. Clothed with Jesus Christ does not mean that you are covered with the cloak of Jesus so it doesn’t matter if you sin or not, because God won’t see your sin because you are covered with Jesus, This is not what it means at all. Being clothed with Jesus Christ means that you have been given
the power you need to defeat sin. Have you ever heard the song ( there is power in the blood, there is wonder working power in the blood of the lamb.) What’s the power in the blood used for,is it not for you to overcome sin. Those who think by clothing themselves with Jesus Christ makes their sin invisible to God has a big surprise coming in the end. These kind of people never use his power in the blood to do anything.
They are fooled by the satanic teaching of once saved always saved that has crept into the church over the centurys.

3#. Shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace Ephesians 6:15 Preparation is essential in every war, even spiritual war. The Gospel is our guide book of strategy against the devil and his forces. It teaches us to trust in Him and Him alone. It shows us the power we have in Him
portrayed in it’s recorded accounts of Jesus’ power and miracles. It shows us the eternal punishment of the unfaithful. It show the truth about the fact that many more are going to go to hell that to
heaven. These eternal Security preachers try to make it very easy for the people to make it to heaven when the Bible shows the immense struggle we face every day as Christians to live holy lives. "Enter by the narrow
gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. "Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. Matthew 7:13 The gospel will equip you for the battle against our enemy the devil.

4#. Above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Ephesians 6:16 Without faith it is impossible to please him. It is of vital importance when it comes to believing God. Believing God is learning how to rest in Him and know that even though it may seam that the whole world is coming down all around you, God is still in complete control, and that every
thing works together for the good for those who love God. Romans (8:28). He will not leave his children abandoned and alone when we call out in faith to Him to deliver us out of the snare of the evil one.

[b]5#.[]/bA nd take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;
Salvation is the key that makes the whole armor of God available to us, and the sword of the Spirit is the Word Of God. So the list above is our defense that comes with salvation. Salvation is the doorway to a world to unlimited power and resources, and the mighty Word of God, the Sword of the Spirit is our mightiest weapon and yet the most precious gift from above, the very words of God given to mere humans.
Jesus said himself in Matthew 13:17 {"for assuredly, I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it. Thank you O Lord for giving us your Holy and precious Word to cherish it and to hide it in our hearts
always and forever, Amen.
