Using Foundational scriptures

We are encouraged to study to show ourselves approved; co-workers with God who do not need to be ashamed, skilfully handling the word of truth. Therefore by studying and knowing these foundation scriptures you can be equipped to evangelize. The Holy Spirit is ourTeacher and Helper, Who has come to remind us of the Truth of the scriptures. Unless we have studied and internalized the Word, there will be nothing for Him to remind us.

You can ask these questions/ declare these statement and answer/apply them as you witness. Elaborating where need be.

What is the state of man before salvation? Rom.3:23 separation

What God did about the state of man.John3:16, Gen.3:15, Rom.3:24, Eph.2:8-9 God gave His Best

What man has to do? Rom.10:9-10

Acknowledge that he cannot save himself Isa. 64:6, Eph.2:8-9

Believe that only Jesus can save him

Ask for forgiveness

Confess - accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour

What happen when man makes the right choice? Rom.6:23, Rom.5:1, 2Cor.5:17, Acts 16:30-32

You have peace with God Rom5:1
From peace with God comes the peace of God. Phil 4:7-8

· Eternal life begins Rom.6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Abundant life begins John10:10

¹⁰ The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. NKJV

God’s Righteousness is bestowed Rom.3:22

This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference,

³⁰It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. 1Cor.1:30

You're given a new heart Ezek 36:26

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.

Forgiveness comes

Eph.1:7In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace

You Pass from death to life John 5:24

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

Your name is written in the Book of Life Phil 4:3,Rev.13:8

And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life.KJVPhil4:3

There is a party (joy) in heaven Luke 15:7

⁷I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.

You will become citizen of heaven and have a passport to heaven.

But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Saviour from there, the Lord Jesus Christ Phil3:20

You become a child of God. John 1:12

The old goes and the New comes 2Cor.5:17

⁷Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!

You are reconciled to God ( 2Cor 5:18)

You are accepted in Christ John 6:37
