Is It Finished

Is It Finished
The voice of silence in my head
His gift is quiet, nothing said
Quill in hand, awaits the pilot
But the voice remains, ever silent
No poetry of Godly rhyme
No odes flow, for silent times
Sonnets and odes, and poetry
All are silent, escaping me
Lord is it over, is it finished
As papers lay, ink diminished
But then a nudge, by his grace
Ideas fill the empty space
Quill to paper smears of ink
Silence is broken, no time to think
Thoughts permeate and start to grow
Of Heaven and Hell, and of lost souls
