Yet Trouble Comes

Trouble comes to the faithful and to the unfaithful, as well

From the vilest offender; to our most precious, have fell

And it may not be fair, viewed through our eyes

But trouble comes in all kinds of disguise

Even upon those who love and serve God

Trouble comes without a wink or a nod

But we must understand, that being God’s faithful child

Will not keep us from trouble, even once and a while

For Job honored God and he praised His holy name

He was a godly, faithful man; yet trouble still came

We haven’t been inoculated, we are not immune

Trouble comes to all; that’s the name of that tune

But as Christians, we can bring Christ our burdens

He knows our pain and he knows when we’re hurt-en

Christ has the power, to strengthen us in our time of need

And we can find divine help; down on our knees

Romans 14:8

For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.
