It is so simple that Professors miss it. Religious luminaries miss it while children, as they come in faith like babes, grasp it. Yes, God made it simple but man made it complicated with dos and don’t. And this is the gospel a simple as A,B,C...

A cknowledge that you are a sinner and cannot save yourself.

B elieve in your heart that only Jesus Christ of Nazareth , the Redeemer, the Saviour of the world, the atoning sacrifice, the Bridge between God and man, the Way the Truth and the Life, only He can sane you.

C onfess with your mouth that He is Lord, inviting Him into your heart, to take his rightful place, the throne of your heart.

It is as simple as that. I was a sinner, bound by sin, steeped in sin-sickness. It was my pass-time. I deceived myself for long with my self righteousness until God opened my eyes by His spirit to realise that I needed salvation; that salvation is not of works- dos and don’ts lest any should boast. So I had to acknowledge me sinful nature.

Secondly I believed that only Christ could save me. His blood shed on Calvary’s cross was enough to wash away my sins. He became my lamb- the Lamb of God hat takes away the sin of the World and my sin.

Thirdly I confessed with my mouth that God raised Jesus from the dead to justify me, make me right with Him, and that Jesus is Lord of my life, My Saviour, sin bearer, my lover, my Friend and my God.

That was the simple Gospel that save sinner like me,
Amazing grace, how sweet the sound
that saved a wretch like me
I was once lost but now found.
Was blind but now I see

Is the Gospel so simple that you too miss it?
Are you under the cloud of confusion?
Are you in the valley of decision?
Yes, the gospel may be simple but rise up
Come away from the cloud of confusion
Tell the devil his time is up
Take the scepter of redemption stretched to you today.
Hear the voice of Jesus, the Truth, the Life, and the Way

Today if you hear His voice, do not harden your heart
Let Him give you a glorious brand new start.
You have a choice
Hear His voice
Make the Right Choice.

I totally agree with you here and I also agree that God's plan of man's salvation is so simple yet we all make it so difficult. It is accepting that we are sinners and have sinned against Him and we need to repent and get out of that sinful life and live a life that is pleasing to His heart.

Whoever believes in the Son, has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on Him (John 3:35)
