Open your lips only
When your thinking is right
not open to folly
not in league with the night.
Words are seeds that are sown
So be wise; sow good seeds
Know that you’re not your own
You’re Abraham’s seed.
Always speak God’s mind
Not anything you see or hear
Know that you’re a God-kind
His trophy always bear.
Words carry life or death
Speak Words that edify
Speak words that bring health
Words that will the Lord glorify.
Words of love, goodness, mercy
Faith, peace, gentleness, palatable
Kindness, just, honest, pure, joy,
Compassion, admirable, amiable.
