Spurgeon's Prayers(4)Lord, May Every Good Thing I have be Enduring
O Lord,
'May every good thing I have be enduring', with longevity;
'May my character not be a writing on the sand but an inscription upon a rock;'
'May my faith not be on baseless fabric of a vision but built on material 'robust, 'able to endure that awful fire which shall consume the wood hay and stubble;.'
'May I be grounded and rooted in love and may my convictions be deep, my love real and my desires earnest.
'May my whole life be so settled and established, that blasts of hell, and all the storms of earth shall never be able to remove .or move me from your presence.
Base on CH Spurgeon’s devotional.
