Found in Christ

Addicted to sin
Now
Addicted to God

Wallowed in immorality
Now
Won to Christ for eternity

Had religion
Now
Have a Relationship

was
Imprisoned by sin
Now
set free by the Son

Before

Given to unforgiveness
Now
Set free to forgive others as He has forgiven me

Was
Hell bound
Now
Heaven bound

Was Lost in the Occult
Now delivered by Christ

Was
Friend of the devil
Now
a Friend of God

Used to be led by the flesh
Now led by the spirit

Had my name written in the book of death
Now my name is written in the book of life

Before
Groped in the Dark
Now
Basking in God’s glorious light

Was Dead in Trespasses and sin
Now Raised together with Christ & seated with Him in heavenly places

Was Blinded in the Kingdom of darkness

Now
Received my spiritual sight

Was a Maggot ( ugly, unsightly, useless & hopeless)
Now a Masterpiece, transformed like a butterfly, adorned, fearfully and wonderfully made

Was
Slave to sin
Now
slave to God ( righteousness)

Was
Imprisoned by sin
Now
set free by Christ

Was
Sin-sick
Now
cured by the blood

Was
Filthy from sin
Now
washed with the Word and the blood of Jesus Christ

Thanks be to God for His mercies, goodness and loving-kindness

Fenny I am no poet and please forgive if there are any mistakes. I will try to make a cardboard.

Walked
in darkness
Turned
Darkness in to light

Lived
Without a shelter
Hid
me in the shelter of His presence

Was
unprotected and shelter less
His love and truth
protects and shields me

My mouth
uttered foolishness and destruction
Made my mouth
utter wisdom and my tongue speak truth

I was
a dead tree with no fruits
He made me
like an olive tree flourishing in God's presence

Fenny please don't mind, I tried my best to make a cardboard for myself. I hope others will also participate in it.

It does not have to be poetic.
