Questions of Life or Death

If Christianity was a crime would there be enough evidence to convict you?
When last did you talk to God?
Do you like talking to Him apart from when you ‘re in trouble or want something from Him?
Do you enjoy His Word or hearing from Him?
Do you like His company?
Do you like the company of His people?
Is Church attendance a burden?
Is giving to God a burden?
Where will you spend eternity if you died today?
Are you born again?
Is God your Father?
Is Jesus your Lord and Saviour?
Do you know the Holy Spirit?
Do you have the assurance of salvation?
Do you have a religion and not a relationship with God?
Your answers to these questions could be a matter of life or death. Think carefully and do what is right; make the right choice.

I totally agree with you and I would say to justify ourselves we have millions of excuses. Like one of my friends says that she need not pray because God knows what she knows before her asking therefore, there is no need to pray. Her body is temple of God so there is no need to go to Church. God lives in her and knows her heart so she does not need to confess Him before others. She claims her good deeds are more than her mistakes.

Deception is so, so real from the objections offered by your friend for not praying, attending church or witnessing. Little wonder the Lord said not everyone that says, 'Lord, Lord' would enter the kingdom of heaven.

Why are many Christians so often defeated?
Because they pray so little.
Why are many church-workers so often discouraged and disheartened?
Because they pray so little.
Why do most men see so few brought "out of darkness to light" by their ministry?
Because they pray so little.
Why are not our churches simply on fire for God?
Because there is so little real prayer...
We are never so high as when we are on our knees.
To me absent or little prayer life is the key to destruction
