Be strong in the Lord
And in His mighty power
Put on the whole
Armour of God

Take the helmet of salvation
Breastplate of righteousness
The belt of truth and the Gospel shoes
and stand, having done all stand.
We wrestle not against
flesh and blood
but against principalities
and powers

Take the Sword of the Spirit of God
which is the word of God
Take the shield of faith above all
and quench (quench) the devil’s fiery darts.
