The Substance Came,
And the shadows fled.
In the outer court
We’re still aliens
In sin, looking in
In the holy place
Atonement made
With spotless lamb
The lamb was slain
To bring them in
The scapegoat bore
The people’s sin
The Lamb was slain
To take away sin
To lift our pain
Open our eyes
Reconcile us
We’re forgiven
The blood speaks
For one and for all
And take our shame
He blotted out
Deadly indictments
Fully delivered us
From the curse of the law
The holy of holies
Only high priest dared
Then the veil was thorn
From top to bottom
We can Now all come
If we call on Him
Christ, our High Priest
We can all come
To throne of grace
The ark replaced
With Covenant, New
