It is great to remember our heroes
Who laid down their lives for us to live
They fought a good fight, became losses
To give us the freedom we enjoy in our lives
They were bold, selfless in serving us
Carrying the banner of freedom till death
We salute their dedication, devotion for us
We commend their courage, commitment to the end.

Many think heroes are soldiers in wars, but I believe you are referring to the christians who have died before us for the faith. Without them the gospel would not be spread as far as it it. This is a loving tribute. Thanks Fenny. Blessings.

Yes. this poem is two-pronged, refering to those who fought in the two World Wars and alluding to those who have stood their ground against satanic forces who want to quench the light of the Gospel.
