Be content but not satisfied!
content that Christ has paid the price
did it once and for all, for you and me
content that the God sized hole was filled
on the day you realized you were lost and called
content that you have made your reservation
and heaven is now your home, you’re just passing through
content that being justified by faith through our Lord Jesus Christ,
you have peace with God- boundless peace, like a river
you’ve passed from death to life
be content that you are complete in Christ
you are sufficient in His sufficiency
your life is hidden in Christ in God
you have been raised from deadness in sin and
seated with Him in heavenly places
far above all rules, dominions and principalities
be content that you are engraved on the palm of His Hands
and he will never forget you or forsake you till the end
be content that you are the apple of God’s eyes
and whoever touches you touches God
be content that you are more than a conqueror through Christ
if God be for you no one can be against you
God is fighting for you, and you can hold your peace.


Be not satisfied with your spiritual growth
aspire, push, press on to grow in grace
desire to know Him more in the power of His resurrection
and in the fellowship of His suffering
by taking up you cross and following Him
know that He has greater things in store for you
that eye has not seen, ear not heard, no mind comprehended
press for the mark of the high calling in Christ
go from glory to glory and from faith to faith
abounding in love, joy, peace, goodness
making deposits in your heavenly bank account
be not satisfied with you prayer life, praying without ceasing
increasing your strength to stand in the gap to make a hedge
increasing your soul winning, sharing the bread you have found
rising daily with hope to make further inroad into the promised Land
rising daily to do greater exploits for your master
rising daily to invest your talents to increase your yield
so that you will hear : Well done, Good and faithful servant.’




[sup]7But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. 8What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ 9and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith. 10I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, 11and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead.

12Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Phil3:7-14
11I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. 12I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. 13I can do everything through him who gives me strength.
14Yet it was good of you to share in my troubles. 15Moreover, as you Philippians know, in the early days of your acquaintance with the gospel, when I set out from Macedonia, not one church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving, except you only; 16for even when I was in Thessalonica, you sent me aid again and again when I was in need. 17Not that I am looking for a gift, but I am looking for what may be credited to your account. 18I have received full payment and even more; I am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent. They are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God. 19And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus. Phil4:11-19
