Saving Sinful Man

Born in a lonely manger, considered a lowly stranger
All haven stood still for his birth,
The night Christ graced
The earth
A heralding angels horn, proclaimed a Savior is born
Yet a crown and a throne he refused
For the nails and the cross
he would choose
Born just to die, dying to save
The blood was required
The blood he gave
Ascending to sit at the Father’s right hand
Saying simply
“It is done”
I have saved sinful man
