It Is Well

Quiet calm
Is in my soul
Gratefully I reflect
On past pain
From the Iron Crucible
I have passed –
Turning the blood to wine.
And laughter within
Rings forth Joy.
Golden petals unfold
Expose the Jewel within
Rays of peace permeate
My present surroundings.
I take the calm with me
I am stronger for it.
And it is well.
