Im make me lie down for pasture wey green
There im make my soul kampke.
Im de lead me for the road wey dey right
Because of im name.
Ah, even if I walk through
gutter wey pass power
A nogo fear any evil.
Because you dey with me,
you no dey commot for my side
the cane and stick
wey you de take keep me in line
make me get common sense
and give me comfort.
You prepare some kin table for me
wey my eye never ever see
full of pounded yam, okporoko
jollof rice, egusi soup, moi moi,
elubo, efo, akara, onunu, ogbono
dem too boku, my mouth
no go fit mention all of dem.
And all this you de do
right in front of my enemies.
You pour oil for my head
I come run all over me
Make my cup dey overflow
A no sey goodness and mercy
Go dey follow me anywhere a go.
And a go rest for your house lai, lai. Amen.
