Metamorphosis
A time of change fills the air, like a changing of the seasons
A gradual effortless change, but significant for eternal reasons
On these winds are whispers, to each man, woman, boy and girl
To reconcile our daily lives; for us to assimilate to the world
This gentle breeze of conformity, promotes a perverse lifestyle
Accommodating the throes of sin, more and more all the while
This flutter of ungodliness, transposes what we know is true
And a tempest of peer pressure, brings compliance to worldly views
We integrate more into the world, growing closer to spiritual death
To evil unison we meander, toward the lies of Satan’s breathe
Converted over a period of time, transformed to a worldly state
This is the change, the metamorphose, the world wants us to make
Romans 12:2 KJV And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God

A more effectual change, more significant and much more pleasing
On this wind are whispers, to each man, woman, boy and girl
To reconcile your daily lives; to assimilate God, not the world
This gentle breeze of conformity, promotes a Christ-like lifestyle
Accommodating God’s love and kindness, more and more all the while
This flutter of grace and mercy, brings salvation to me and you
And a tempest of His godliness, transforms what we know is true
As we meld into the Lord, calling upon Him with every breathe
To His accordance we draw closer, away from Satan’s lies and certain death
Our conversion from death to life, we’re transformed from a worldly state
This is the change, the metamorphose, our Savior translates
