God Is In Control(Prayer of Confession (2012))

God’s in Control
I may be down
But I’m not out
I see the crown
So refuse to doubt
Despite my bouts
God’s in control
My foes He’ll rout
Lover of my soul.
The Promised Land
I will enter
The wicked band
Will be scattered.
God’s gone ahead
To give break through
Foes will be bread
And footstool too.
Through thick and thin
I sure will win
I see victory
From Almighty.
The year ahead
Will make me head
God will be praised
And His name raised.

Pray this at the beginning of the year and come back to it from time to time when you are challenge, stretched or attacked.
16 For a righteous man may fall seven times And rise again, But the wicked shall fall by calamity. Prov24:16
23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, And He delights in his way.
24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For the LORD upholds him with His hand.
25 I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread. Ps37:23-25
1 Kings 18
41 Then Elijah said to Ahab, "Go up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of abundance of rain."
1 I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2 My soul shall make its boast in the LORD; The humble shall hear of it and be glad.
3 Oh, magnify the LORD with me, And let us exalt His name together.
8Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!Ps34:1-3,8
