I Am An Eagle

I am an eagle;
Born to soar
And not to struggle;
Born to mount up
To surmount.

I am an eagle;
Born to overcome
In the storm
Rising with adverse wind
Carrying me to glory.

I am an eagle
Born, a king of the skies
Born to scale hurdles
Adversity brings prosperity
With vision for purpose.

I am an eagle.
My talons are talented
And very targeted.
I never miss my prey;
Always focused.

Opposition bring promotion,
Contentions trigger conquering.
Stumbling blocks are stepping stones
To a higher ground.
I am an eagle!

When my feathers
Become threadbare
Time to renew my strength
In the secret place
of the Most High!
