The Price Christ Paid is This:

Abandoning His majesty
Laying aside His glory
Coming as the Son of Man
To fulfil the divine plan.

Creator surrendered to His creatures
Accepted separation from the Father
So that He might give us a future-
Reconciliation with the Father.

He was vilified, tortured and crucified
Battered, broken, bleeding;
His precious life He sacrificed;
Made His life a savour, sweet smelling.

The Sinless took the sin of the world
For the world to be saved from sin
All who believe and accepted His word
Will be lifted, washed, robe in righteousness.

He hung on the tree He made
Was killed by the people He made
Was buried in a borrowed grave
So that You and I might be saved.

Today, no matter how far
Just come as you are
Come and bow the knee
And you will be set free.
