Philip Preaches the Prince of Peace

Philip was in a winning way in Samaria

Miracles were happening here and there.

But God had a plan for a man in another area

The officer of the Queen of Ethiopia



This man was thirsty and hungry for God.

He was so serious that he bought His word.

He read over and over, again and again.

He was no wiser, he thought he was insane.



God was compassionate and told Philip to go.

Desert his dear friends and go to a desert.

Philip obeyed at once knowing it was the way.

Even though he wondered not knowing the way.



God guided and guarded him in the right way.

He saw the stranger who needed a helper that day

Come help me, I can see, read, yet cannot conceive.

Come interpret for me to believe and receive.



So Philip preached the Prince of Peace.

And when he finished the stranger was at ease.

He embraced the Word of Grace and Word of life.

Was baptized and went home rejoicing in Newness of Life.

What He did with Peter,

He can do with you.

What He did for Aeneas and Dorcas

He can do for you.

The World sees to believe.

But we believe to see.

Our ways are not His ways and our thoughts are not His thoughts.
as many as are led by the Spirit, they are children of God. Let Him lead as we follow. the pathway of the righteous shines ever brighter until the full light of day.He leads us to green pastures even when we go the way of the desert or the land of the giants. His way is the best way, the true way and the right way.

You know to me this is an amazing story where God shows that Hid love is for everyone and through every soul He glorifies Himself. His love covers all physical, emotional and other faults which builds a complex in us.

If we have God in us, then there is no inferiority complex and God even uses our weaknesses to His name's glory. Like Davis a small child, whose body and strength was not even to support he shield he was wearing, his used God's wisdom to glorify God by defeating satan.

This shows, whether weak, whether small, whether physical disability cannot and stop us from glorifying God.

God can use us no matter how weak or small we are. Infact the weaker we are in His hands the more His power and glory will be made more manifest.

That was why He could use Gideon who saw himself the least of the least and with 300 men able to defeat hundreds of thousands. (Judges 6 and 7)
That was why He was also able to use David who was despised by Goliath and even his brother. ( 1Sam.17)

Without a doubt, thirsty, it is a gift of God. Each one of us has something unique that God has deposited in us to make us unique, apart from our DNA.


As we wait on Him He reveals it to us; and as we pray and practice it, He fuels it by the power of His Holy Spirit. And as we give it out to glorify Him, He causes it to be given back to us pressed down, good measure and running over.
