Triumphing in Trying Times

Is possible for us all

If we will commit to pray

And put our faith in the Lord.

Learn to say what God has said

And not what the world has said

Learn to say what the word says

Not what the enemy says.

Learn to say what the Lord said

Not what your circumstance says

Learn to say what the word says

Not what people around your say.

When men are cast down

Then thou shalt say,

‘There is lifting up.’ Prov22:29

This is the way to triumph:

Praying the word,

Seeking God’s face,

Praying and fasting,

Hearing from Him,

Exercising your faith,

Standing your ground,

Putting on the whole armour of God,

Fight the good fight of faith,

Counting it all joy,

Perseverance to the end,

Knowing who you are and

Whom you serve,

Obeying what God has said,

Sowing good seeds

in good grounds,

watering the seeds

and waiting for God’s time.

²⁶But Jesus looked at them and said to them, "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." Matt19:26

⁶Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;

⁷and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
