He took our place
To pave the way.
He took our place
To show His grace.
He took our place
for us to see His face.

He took our place
That the Great Light may dawn;
that those who sat in darkness;
in the Land of the shadow of death,
may rise and see the Light and shine
and be unburdened, released from the prison,
the shackles and manacles of the enemy.

He took our place
To pay the price fully, completely:
It is finished! It is a done deal.
No one can add to it or remove from it.

He took our place to reconcile us, to make AT-ONE-MENT.
He took our place that His blood may speak better things than the blood of bulls and goats: remission of sin, forgiveness, peace, acceptance, health, prosperity, healing,, deliverance, every spiritual blessing, divine nature, purposeful life, New Birth, Eternal Life- Zoe and much more, more than we can ask or think or even dream of.

It pleased the Father to bruise Him.
It pleased the Father that He took our place. It was promised even soon after the first Adam fell. The Last Adam was to be a quickening spirit, a Lamb to take away the sin of this world. He was the lamb slain before the foundation of the world.

He became our peace, removing the middle wall of partition that alienated us from the commonwealth of promise.
Yes, He took our place for the scriptures to be fulfilled. Jesus would have a Bride to sit on His side, a Bride redeemed with a great price because of her worth and because of His great love, compassion and faithfulness.

Thank you , Lord for taking my place on Calvary’s cross and enabling me and us to cross over to the other side; from religion to relationship; from darkness to light; from damnation to acceptance in the beloved; from hopelessness to hope; from death to Life. Alleluia!

He has no form or comeliness;
And when we see Him,

The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.

10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise Him;
He has put Him to grief.
When You make His soul an offering for sin,
He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days,
And the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in His hand.
11 He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied.
By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many,
For He shall bear their iniquities.
