Why you don't go to Church

Our Church asked us to do a small survey so that they may know the excuses people make not to go to Church. Following are the most average excuses made by the Christians and non-Christians.

[*list]I don't go to church because I only have the weekend to unwind and I just don't have time.
I don't go to church because I have never felt "led" to a church.
I don't go to church because I am not religious.
I don't go to church because my spouse will not go with me.
I don't go to chruch because I do not want to be a hypercrite.
I don't go to church because all they will do is judge me and I am not perfect.
I used to go to church until someone from that church hurt me badly.
I don't go to church because I am a good person and I don't need to go to know God.
I don't go to church because I am ill.
I don't go to church because I hate it. All they are is a bunch of hypercrites!
I don't go to church because if I did the four walls of the church would cave in because I am so bad.
I don't go to church because I have nothing to wear to church.
I don't go to church because NO ONE HAS INVITED ME TO GO.[/*list]

Great survey Dove,
These are the same answers I hear when I go on visitation; but this is probably closer to the truth - I don't go to church because I will have to change my ways, and in all reality you don't.
God changes us as we grow and submit unto His will.

Recently I met a UK national who is visiting Pakistan and he invited me to dinner on Sunday. He asked me if I can show him my city in the morning, I excused as I told him that I would be in the Church but my driver can drive him around. He looked at me in amazement and said, "Do you believe in such ancient stuff like religion and faith?"

My answer was simple, I told him that rejecting God is no modern thing, satan denied God when he deceived Adam and Eve, so if he can believe in such an ancient thing, what is the problem in believing in any religion. This way all the religions of the world are new than satan's first deception.

Anyhow, the point here is that we come up with lots of excuses to reject God. We think, that going to Church is old and out dated and we have to move around with the world. Some people are so tired that they have no time for God but they expect that God must bless them and their families.
