Burglary Series (1) Robbers Came!

Robbers came
looted house
Who is to blame?
Cat replaced by the mouse
They dented my wallet
Plus Bible, cards and laptop
like a knife through my gullet
That was some cup, bitter cup
Pc came to assess
‘Sorry they left no forwarding address.’
Lost for words, violated
Just like a daylight rape
But I will not be intimidated
My song and joy you cannot scrape
I see great things coming
Goodness and mercy outpouring.
I see great glory descending
like an avalanche, a deluge
a harvest of joy, treasures of darkness
through His loving kindness.
Reading my Bible, may they not just be informed
but may they get saved and transformed.

I too have been robbed. I had my coat and much taken from me
at a christian retreat of all places. How i felt betrayed. Yet we are
called to be a witness even in the middle of these great testings.
The Lord wants us to remain steadfast and not waver in our witness
for him. Great write. I felt your pain, and your joy. Blessings.
