To get to the Golden Gate,

Gotta get out of the Ghetto-

Sin-city doomed for destruction,

And yearn for salvation-

Not buying wisdom of Worldly Wise.

Don’t despair due to Despondence.

Stay away from insane Stubbornness.

Lay aside Legality’s loony lies;

He deceives, derails and dumps;

Makes you confused, bemused, you wanna cry.

He wants to put you out of use.

Has a wicked ploy, Satan-deployed;

Out to dent and rob your joy.

Fear will face you, fight you, fleece you,

Kill you before you die, make your eye see red.

You gotta make it no matter what;

You have put your hand to the plough, don’t look back.

You need to put away the old hat

And focus on the New Living Way, making your mark.

Leave your foot-print in time’s sand,

Despite obstacles and debacles.

On His promises you shall stand,

Until you see results, miracles.

Your adversaries will fight in a rage,

But you must keep cool, stay focused.

They will want to do damage

But know you’re blessed, no longer cursed.
