I cannot understand the Bible

Do you read Bible - Oh, no, because I tried once and could not understand a single word, therefore I thought, it is not my piece of cake



The Scriptures tell us that the "natural man" cannot understand the things of the Spirit of God. Most people would find it difficult to understand the Arabic language. However, a child who is born into an Arabian family can understand every word. That’s why you must be born again with God’s Spirit living within you (John 3:3). The moment you become part of God’s family, the Bible will begin to make sense.

Without the Spirit of God directing us in the scripture it is just another book. People can gain a head knowledge of the Word, but a head knowledge will get us no where. I can speak as a Pastor that I study and read the scripture several times a day. Many times I will read a passage of scripture and will understand the context and then continue to read, but I may go back to that same scripture later in the day and the Holy Spirit will open that scripture to me in a whole new way. Praise the Lord!!!
