Hope Has Hands
That reaches out
To feed the poor,
Dispelling doubt,
Rescuing the perishing.

Hope Has Hands
That are warm
And understand;
Comforting those who mourn,
Even in distant lands.

Hope Has Hands,
Reaching down the dungeon,
To the down-cast
And the lost,
No matter the cost.

Hope Has Hands,
Often stretched out,
As the extension of God’s Hands,
Raising the weak,
Healing the sick.
