The Fight of Hope ( Hope Series 18)

The fight of Hope;
a good fight of faith
Not by might or power
Or human strength
But by the Spirit’s Power,
Hope stands and towers.

Hope duns whole armour of God,
Then stands on God’s Word,
Before stepping out;
refusing to doubt,
Looking, acting just like Him.

Hope’s head is covered by
salvation'shelmet
Wording off every
wicked insinuation
or assault arising
from demonic opposition.
His feet are put in the shoes
of the Gospel of peace;
expressing readiness
to share the good news,
declaring the reason
for the hope he has.
He has a breastplate
of righteousness-
The righteousness of God.

He is a tree of righteousness,
like a cedar of Lebanon-
The planting of the Lord.
He flourishes in
the courts of our God
And remains fresh and green
Bringing forth fruit
even in his old age;
Proclaiming that the Lord
is good, great, glorious,
upright, and there
is no unrighteousness in Him.

The battle is not Hope's but the Lord’s.
He is the Captain of Salvation,
the Commander-in-chief,
Who decrees and it stands,
Commands and it comes into being.

Thanks be to God who always
causes hope to triumph.
Hope overcame the foe
by the blood of the
Lamb and by the
word of his testimonies.
He is born of God and
overcomes this world.
He endures hardness as
a good soldier of Christ;
Knows that his weapons
are not man-made but
They are mighty and formidable,
through God to the pulling
down of strongholds.

The pulling down of strongholds...
Great Fenny!! We need to constantly remind
ourselves to this.
