According to Your word
Let me see the operation
Of what I have heard
Send your word to heal
Speak Your word only
Let Your balm seal
I wait patiently.
Let this turbulence cease
Quell this heart-quake
Precious Prince of Peace
Let it be for Christ’s sake.
Your Kingdom suffers violence
By force the violent shall take
Your blood is my defence
You can make and unmake.
Keep me in your perfect peace
My mind is stayed on you
Give me sweet release
O thou Faithful and True
