Beautiful Are Thou
Beautiful are thy sunset skies, mountains and Ponderosa pines
Prairie grasses in the wind, grapes upon the vine
Beautiful are thy rivers and lakes, sand dunes and sea oats
Valleys filled of wild flowers, waves lapping the coast
Beautiful are thy snow capped peaks, canyons and thy seas
Meadows and redwood forests, hives of honey bees
Beautiful are thy rainbows, beaver dams and water falls
Sandstone carved by thy breeze, cactus growing tall
Beautiful are thy many blessings, fellowship, touch and gifts
Forgiveness of our many sins, your hands when we slip
Beautiful are thou, Holy Father, grace poured out on the cross
Jesus given for each one, salvation for the lost
Beautiful is thy only son, his mercy and his grace
Crucified for you and I, our souls too precious to waste
