Plan B
If I’d been Jesus, I’d ask God for a “Plan B”
A secondary operation, to save sinners like we
I’d ask for an alternative, to the nails and the cross
A substitute situation, to save sinners so lost
Because knowingly we, overlook our evil ways
And we jump back and forth into the sins of the day
Worldly whispers; we can’t seem to resist
Or maybe we’re pretending; our sin doesn’t exist
But there’s only one plan, in which we can trust
God’s only plan; is Christ Jesus
So for arrogant sinners; as such as we
The reality is, there’s no “Plan B”

Great write, yet a sad truth. Too many are putting their hopes
in a religion rather than Jesus. Sad for them when they find out
there is not plan B. tc
