The Easter Trail

On the way to the cross
His entry into Jerusalem:
He went, knowing what will befall Him
But He went, setting His face like a flint
He was determined to save you and I.

On the way to Golgotta
They chanted ‘Hosanna! Hosanna!
Blessed is He that comes in the name of the Lord.’
But soon the adulation turned:
Crucify Him! Crucify Him!’

He was vilified, abused and crucified
The sin of the whole world was heaped on Him
That included yours and mine
He did it for you and did it for me.

He shed His precious blood for you and I
He was scourged, spat upon, crushed
He came to set the captives free- you and I
So that we could be redeemed- reconciled.

What are you thankful for?
AMEN that it's JESUS!

Thank God the story did not end in His death
He died but the grave could not hold Him, He Rose again
And now at the Father’s right hand He reigns
That is why we can rejoice-
all who have made Him their choice.

"I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.
26 And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?"John11:25-26
You too can join that company of innumerable saints, today.
