There is a place by Me,
Where peace is well-assured;
Where thieves cannot break in
And steal, damn and kill.

There is a place of power;
The Place of My presence;
Where you see My Face;
A place of great grace.

The place is very special,
For those who make Me special.
In this place you hear My voice,
To drown all the limiting noise.

This place provides a rock.
It is hewn from the Great Rock;
A place where you can hide;
A place where you can feed.

This place brings strength.
This place brings filling;
A place of open heaven,
Where there is no limitation.

The world disdains this place;
My Word adorns this place.
This is a refining furnace;
To make you shine all of your days.

My place is a place of glory,
That will change your story.
There I will weave Myself into you;
And pour my oil upon you.

This place will place you high;
This place will bring you nigh;
This place will separate you;
Bless you, beautify and launch you.

More beautiful than Eden;
A place of purpose and vision;
Great garden, divine haven.
Obscure, yet laden with gem.

Trade your gold for this place!
Sell your shares and land for this place.
This is a place of sacrifice;
Pay the price to get the Prize.

This is a place of authority;
A place to trade labour for favour;
From My light, you will see light,
To go and light the lives of men.

This is a place of integrity;
A place of great intimacy;
I in you and you in Me.
I, dinning with you and you with Me.

Come to the place of visitation;
I stretch My Hand of invitation.
Come for great transformation;
Come for mammoth rejuvenation.

This is a place of inspiration;
The Place of New Creation;
A place second to none;
Reach out. What are you waiting for?!

Dear Fenny:

Great expalantion of Exodus 33:21 through poetry and I liked it. You also made me read poems, otherwise, I always try to skip poems.

However, please do not use "damn" word as this is poetry that glorifies God and to me we should not use such slang words.

I can see where you're coming from and I decided to look at my dictionary.

Damn has a coloquial and normal meaning.
The coloquial could be regarded as swearing but the true and original meaning is :
to codemn, to punish or fate; to bring ruin on; to curse...

Our adversary, the devil, wants to curse those God has blessed; he wants to ruin the redeemed; he wants to condemn those that are accepted in the beloved.

Therefore on these grounds I think the word 'damn' is proper.
He cannot do any of these in God's presence, can he?

Dear Fenny:

Many English Language words are now not in use as they are used in slang. I do not want to use them here, however, damn is a "curse" word.

Even due to slang some names are used in a different way but if you open up a dictionary, it will surely show it as a name but no one is interested in naming their children with those names.

Like I find people using "Gosh" or "Jeez" for God and Jesus Christ. Do you think they are appropriate?

Whatever part I come from, I am well-versed with modern day language and I did one of my Masters from Bradford University, UK. I also travel a lot due to my job, I hope this will surely give you a clear picture that whether I live in Pakistan, I still know what I am talking of. People use the same language here also. English is official language of Pakistan and you will find teenagers using the same street language which spoken in central London or New York.

I hope that you did not take it personally. I only made a request and there was nothing personal about it.

Keep up your good work in God through our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ.

Although I do appreciate poetry but I am little uneducated in this subject, therefore, I am making you Moderator of this forum so that you can moderate it yourself.

You have all the controls at your hand like, banning someone, making an announcement or making a topic sticky.

Announcements are generally used for Rules and Stickies are posts which you want always on the top of other posts. When you post a poem, just under "send", it will give you three options, "Normal", "Sticky" or "Announcement". It is your choice what you want to do with it.

Please do remember this is a non-Christian French server and they do not extend any kind of support to Christian Forums and blogs.

On this forum, a month ago, they started porno advertisement and when I protested nothing happened. I made repeated requests and in the end with prayers and repeated requests I was able to remove the porno adverts.

I even offered to buy the space but they refused. My problem was that I cannot move this forum with so many members to another paid server. I even bought VBulletin but no help was provided to upload it.

I am stuck to this server because of so many members and articles otherwise Iw ould move to my own domain.

They are not even willing to sell me domain name. They just refuse making silly excuses. Even when they display forums for others to look at, they never display my forum but they do display Wiccans and Black Magic Discussion Forums. I have more hits per day than them and even more members than them.

Choice is yours but I think blogspot is also a good site. Why don't you make a search on google and find some Christian friendly site.
